What Affiliate Marketing is and How It Works

                                                           How Affiliate Marketing works:
Affiliating marketing involves a "merchant" paying a commission to affiliates for promoting their brand. Affiliates are usually payed based on performance, meaning you get paid per sale.

The goal of an affiliate is to promote the merchant's product and get as many sales as possible, usually affiliates do this by creating a post about the merchant's product on an already established blog.

For example, if you have an already established blog about health, naturally you would promote a product of a merchant in the health niche.

How Payments Work & How Much You Earn:

As mentioned before, you get paid based on performance, meaning you earn per sale, usually the amount is a certain percentage.

So if you were to sell a $500 product and you were to get %50 commission per sale, that means you are earning $250 per sale.

How To Find products to promote:

In order to promote a merchants product, you need to be able to find an "affiliate network". An affiliate network is a place where merchants place their product so other affiliates can find and promote them.

Clickbank.com is a great place for beginners to start & find products to promote.
